Rebecca Bown Reviews loss at Telford and no football during Lockdown.

Shifnal Town Ladies lost 2-1 to hosts AFC Telford United Ladies last Sunday in a hard-fought local derby.

On the Ladies performance away at Telford.

The performance on the weekend wasn’t one of our best, but we can take a lot of positives from the game and the ladies gave 100%.

We were missing a few key players due to injuries but all the girls put a shift in and worked for each other.

On who you thought was the most influential player on the pitch.

The most influential player was Lucy Warner she has been a massive addition to our team this year and always brings a great dynamic to the team, she stepped up and played CB for the second half and did an amazing job.

Your thoughts on no football during Lockdown.

Myself and the whole team are absolutely devastated about the lockdown.

As we feel we are just beginning to become a real solid unit as a team and perform to our best.

However, it is for the safety of everyone and the girls are already figuring ways to keep on the ball!
