Maria Bell, The Captain, The Leader, The Role model.

Shifnal Town Ladies currently sit in 3rd place in the West Midlands Regional Women's Divison One North Football League.

Maria Bell spoke highly of the togetherness throughout the club, and how it feels to be the captain of the team.

"The team spirit around the club is amazing! Jenna Boddison and Rebecca Bown, Are always laughing and keeping everyone positive they’re ace!"

On What it's like playing for Shifnal Ladies, And how it feels to be the Captain.

"Playing for Shifnal is like having another family!

 I am glad to be a captain of Shifnal they’re a great bunch of ladies that have the ability to win games! They are always giving 100% they want to be the good apples".

On Where you are hoping the Ladies will end up in the table this season.

"I believe we’re going to win the league this season! We have so much fight in us.

Shifnal Town Ladies are pleased to confirm Ashley Griffiths has agreed to continue his role as Social media manager and club photographer. Ashley will take care of the creative side and interactivity of the Shifnal Town Ladies social media accounts as we aim to achieve a greater online presence. Ashley has said he is " extremely happy to be continuing his role as a social media manager and club photographer.   Boddison turns down move to local rivals Shrewsbury Town. Shifnal player Jenna Boddison and one part of the dynamic strike duo at Shifnal Town Ladies has been approached by local rival ladies team Shrewsbury Town.  Jenna currently sits 4th in the league's top goal scorers of the season with 11 goals from 8 games 6 goals away from leader Shrewsbury Towns Madison Jones who currently sits on 17 goals from 9 games. We managed to catch up with Jenna in regards to the potential move to Shrewsbury Town and asked her a couple of questions in regards to this.  Q:  How did it feel to be approached by another club, a rival club at that?
